A Charles Dickens Christmas

Sunday morning instead of sleeping in or performing chores I hopped in the car, destination Cambridge, to enjoy the Charles Dickens’ Victorian Christmas Display.

Since it was Sunday morning, I missed the courthouse light show, carriage rides and hot chocolate, but it was still well worth the 90 minute drive!

There are carolers, chimney sweeps, wealthy shoppers, lamp lighters, bag ladies, apple peddlers, glass blowers, beggars, bobbies and even Mr. Dickens himself along with his fiance.

Father Christmas stands in front of the courthouse, along with Tiny Tim.

An ambulance of the day.

Mr. Dickens and his intended.
